The Build
Cult Runner & Federal Moto called to create a naughty illustration to hand-paint on their collaborative, custom chopper named “The Bottom Feeder Build.” Painting the front face of a Frisco gas tank was equal parts fun and challenging. The deep, Root-Beer brown was complimented with bone-white & gold.
Flexibility
The challenge was to create artwork that could work not only for the canvas of a gas tank, but also for a limited shirt run to be released with the bikes reveal event. While the figures were crucial to carrying the narrative, the flexible, atmospheric lines & container allowed the artwork to be applied to any shape.
The Bash
The event featured the custom bike reveal, a helmet art show, live van painting, merch booths, skateboarding, food trucks, and hella beer from Goose Island. A similar palette of alternate illustrations are peppered throughout the bash. Patches and koozies expand the Bottom Feeder narrative reading: "Join the Bottom Feeders Club.”
